Each Jefferson Brass door knocker is hand made, cast flawlessly in heavy solid brass, to jewelry precision and standards. Our collection of door knockers offers simple, elegant designs that are suitable for all types of homes, from colonial to contemporary. They are of superior quality and are truly performing works of art. These door knockers are not lacquered, and they will require polishing from time to time. If you choose, however, not to polish, they will turn a beautiful aged color that some of our customers prefer.

Perhaps the most popular of all doorknocker shapes is the urn. Our urn is elegantly designed with a pineapple motif, America's symbol of hospitality, flourishing on top. Our solid brass door knocker finishing buttons have been made specifically for Jefferson Brass. To install, first use your thumb to press in and unscrew the finishing washer that is actually inside the button. Place the enclosed door knocker screw through the counter sunk side of the washer.
