The tradition of Easter egg hunts, while now a widespread celebration throughout the world, is believed to have originated in Germany in the late 16th century with Protestant reformer Martin Luther who organized egg hunts for his congregation where men hid eggs for women and children to find.  Fast forward to today and the Easter Egg Hunt is a thrill for children of all ages who love the tradition with the ultimate goal of being the first to find the Golden Egg!
