In classic design, form must follow function. This simple yet elegant large letter opener illustrates this concept. Hand cast in solid brass coupled with a wonderful heavy feel, this brass letter opener is truly a work of art. Though one may think it may not be thin enough to open a letter, its purpose is indeed just that. It works! You will immediately sense its value as a letter opener and a paperweight. Exclusively from Jefferson Brass.
Length 10". Weighs 0.45 lbs. Engravable. Personalized monogramming (+$6.00) or engraving (+$12.00) is available on this product for an additional charge. If you would like to add a monogram or engraving to your order, enter the initials (monogram) or inscription (up to 10 letters) into the appropriate field, and select the font style.
IMPORTANT: Before ordering, please carefully review the details of your selection, particularly the actual placement of letters and initials. Note that the "Circle" and "Interlocking" fonts have a larger middle letter (traditionally the last name) and are used for initials. Enter the initials, name or letters in the exact order that you wish them to appear on your piece. If you do not wish to add a monogram or engraving, leave these fields blank.
NOTE: Personalized items may not be returned. Additionally, please allow 3-5 business days for the engraving/monogramming to be completed. If you need a personalized item shipped to arrive by a certain date, we suggest you upgrade the shipping to next day air or second day air to meet your requirements.
Because of the handcrafted workmanship of each piece, you may occasionally be able to discern very small inclusions, imperfections, and even slight size variations. This is to be expected, and we ask that you understand that they are an inherent part of the manufacturing process. Our products are solid brass, and we believe they are the best that can be made today. They sell themselves...just pick one up. Feeling is believing! If you receive one that has a slight discoloration, it is not a defect. It has travelled over 8,000 miles from the factory to our warehouse. Use a metal polish, such as Brasso or Wenol, to correct any discoloration.
